Need to have Grammarly help you with your Blog?

gerund-1025453_1920If you need Grammarly in there helping you Blog with better grammar and spelling then you are not going to want to use Edge (Windows 10 Browser) as your “goto” browser.  Don’t get me wrong, Edge has many things to recommend it including Spell Check.

Edge is supposed to use less than half the resources of Chrome.  This could be crucial when trying to work online while on your Laptop’s battery.  If you are working on a Blog Post offline, you may want to use Edge, if you can, but before you actually post it, upload it to Grammarly for one last check.

There are supposed to be “several” tools that let you create content offline and then upload to say, your WordPress-based blog.  So far, the Word Blog templet hasn’t worked, Windows Live is no longer supported (or downloadable) and a couple others seem to also have the same “I won’t connect to your blog” problem that Word has.  I like the WordPress App except 1) The desktop version won’t work offline.  2) You have to specifically tell it to spell check rather than having it be caught as you are typing.  I guess Grammarly, Word and even Chrome have spoiled me.

So if you are not a high-powered grammatician you probably need Grammarly.  It’s free with a premium version that helps even more.  There are free versions that integrate with Chrome (but not Google Docs) and with Word and Outlook.
